This week we purchased multiple estates with lots of quality furniture and decor. If you like mid century modern or if you are into the 1980s, we have what you are looking for to furnish you home or apartment. So many great pieces have arrived.

Our warehouse is not open yet, but our showroom located at 393 bushwick avenue is open Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-6pm.

Need Furniture and Decor During these trying time? We are here for you

Its been several weeks and this darn virus is still keeping us at home. Many people have realized that they finally need to spruce up their homes and apartments and we are here to help. We have been selling items thru our instagram @reuseamericany and all of our items are available for touch free pickup or we can arrange for curbside deliveries. All items that we sell have been thoroughly sanitized and can be delivered within a few days or held until this mess is over.

People working from home have realized that they need desks and we have provided them to many people. Some of our clients have realized that they need to find the proper storage to make their home more tidy and we have provided many solutions for somANTIQUE METAL MEDICAL CABINETSe it’s a new dresser or a tv stand to a simple bookshelf.

We are still out every day bringing in new items to the warehouse so check out our instagram for new arrivals. We realize that there are people that are leaving our great city due to the uncertainty and we are available to buy your items and find good homes for them.

We are roaring along with great vintage finds

So glad to be back to work from our extended family celebration. We spent the week bringing in lots of new pieces. We had appointments lined up all week, so we were busy picking up mid century modern furniture and 1980s decor and furniture.

We picked up a bunch of cool items from a 8 bedroom mansion in Ditmas park and we will be returning in the coming weeks to get lots more.

We also went to an apartment in Brighton Beach Brooklyn which had a full ocean view. We picked up some nice furniture from there and we will be returning to there as well to pick up the remaining items.

Off we went to a home in Long Island where we got a stunning mid century credenza, a dining table with leaves and  bunch of mid century chairs.

So Many New Items This week…Its insane

Our warehouse has never been so packed with great stuff. Besides bringing in tons of stuff from our picking trip while we were on vacation…. this week was a crazy picking adventure. We brought in 4 truckloads of new items including lots of mid century modern furniture.

We were called to an apartment right at the edge of the Brooklyn Bridge on Pearl street in lower manhattan. The views from this apartment were amaaaaazzzzing. I wish I had taken a picture to show you all the view this person got to see every day. She used to be a lawyer and she spent her money well… in my opinion a little to well. She purchased too much clothing and there were so many items with tags still on them. Clothing is not our forte, so we had a clothing dealer purchase those items while we managed to get a truckload of unique furniture pieces and other great items including a Knoll side table and a knoll bench.

On Thursday we went to a lovely large home in Wurtsboro Long Island where we picked up lots of great mid century modern pieces and other nice vintage pieces including a bunch of cool mirrors, a vintage Schwinn tandem bike and so much more. We filled up the truck when we were told there are more items in the garage. We spend a half hour trying to get the door open but we managed to only get it open enough to get a peek inside and there are lots of cool stuff tucked away in there. We will have to return with proper tools to open the door so we can get the items.

At 10:00 at night we visited a nice home in Midwood brooklyn and purchased some small mid century modern furniture including 4 danish modern dining chairs and 2 cool designer swag chairs.

Friday morning we will be picking up even ore stuff so stay tuned for new goodies.

The places we visit are amazing…

This week we were busy visiting homes in the New York are as usual. What wasn’t usual was two unique places we visited. Monday morning we were called to a brownstone in the village. From the outside it looked similar to the other homes surrounding it. Upon entering the home we were presented with 3 floors loaded with amazing vintage and antique treasures. When we entered the top floor we were amazed by what we saw. The ceiling was over 20′ tall and had a balcony leading to a loft space. We were informed that this gigantic room was used in the 1930s as a speakeasy during the prohibition. They had burlesque

shows with drinking and gambling at the same time. Going up to the balcony, there were unique mirrors and unique costumes which appeared untouched since those days. This was truly a unique experience and we hope they will accept our bid to purchase all those cool items.

On Wednesday, we went to a giant home in Great Neck NY where we were able to purchase lots of cool items including some mid century modern furniture. We also enjoyed our visit with homeowner whom was selling her home which she lived in for many years. She was a optomitrist and had just closed her in home office. While I was able to purchase some of those items, there were plenty of other cool items she didn’t want to sell as she was donating them to a charity in Peru which helps provide eye checkups and glasses to the needy there. we were touched by the stories she told us of her visits to that poor county and the benefits that the equipment will make to the people there.

Thursday was productive as well as we got a bunch of new mid century modern pieces from a home in Long Island. Lots of great pieces in the shop now for you to furnish and decorate your homes or apartments.
