We have been busy purchasing unique vintage gift items for the shop. We know many of our customers and friends are going back home for the holidays and they are looking for that one of a kind item. Well we have lots of hard to find items, in fact we have thousands of unique items in our massive warehouse. Many people come in for one item and spend hours searching thru our massive collection of hidden treasures. This week we purchased the contents of an estate in Connecticut of an elderly woman who collected everything. We spent the entire day digging thru endless items in her basement and attic. We uncovered so many cool items. Each box we opened was a revelation of history and her life and we heard many stories about their use in her life. She kept everything in sealed bags and boxes so it was a tedious task revealing her treasures, but it was well worth it since we obtained so many unique items that we have not seen before. She had many mid century modern gems mixed in with her antique items….it was a wonderful experience.

Then we went to a nice home in Ditmas Park Brooklyn where we purchased some nice mid century furniture from a Victorian home on a quiet street. We were expecting the home to be full of antiques which we generally dont buy, but we were surprised to find a nice mid century credenza and bar, a stunning mid century modern desk, mid century round table, recliner, dressers,

Danish modern lounge chair set, mid century modern bar cart, mid century chrome and glass side table set, some amazing mid century pottery, great mid century lighting and a bunch of vintage oriental items.
