Mid Century Bonanza
This week was a great one for us since we got calls from two homes loaded with mid century modern furniture and decor. The first one is in Long Island and we began to bring the great items to our shop. There is so much stuff that we have to make a few trips there to make sure we get all the items. We will be busy at that location next week so there will be a lot more pictures coming soon. House number two is also loaded with mid century modern gems and we began bringing the items to the shop on Thursday. We will be returning next week as well since we will be getting 5 cado systems and bringing them to the shop by the end of the week. We will also be bringing in some very unique retro items from this home as well.
We also squeezed in a pick up of amazing solid teak and fruitwood modern minimalist desks which have proven to be very popular due to their great look and great low price of $150 each. If you like these guys, you should grab them while they last. These are quality desks in 36″&42″ wide sizes.

We need to make room in our warehouse
Our warehouse is loaded full of mid century modern furniture and great vintage treasures. To help make room we are offering FREE Delivery of your purchase over $350 in Brooklyn, parts of Queens, and lower manhattan until November 1.
Now is the time to get your dressers, desks, credenzas, coffee tables, side tables, dining tables, chairs, and much more and not worry about how you are going to get it home.
We loaded up on lots of great vintage items this week. Below is just a small sample of the items that we brought into the shop.

Lots of mid century modern and Danish modern pieces this week.
This week we were lucky in our search for mid century modern furniture. We purchased the contents of an estate in Long Island. This home contained lovely signed rosewood danish modern pieces and a bunch of other great items. From a home in New Jersey we purchased a classic mid century modern bedroom set which will surely sell fast. We also purchased the estate of a local collector and we will be bringing in the contents of this home over the next few days.
We also purchased some really cool industrial and mid century modern items from a gentleman in williamsburg going back to Europe. I wish i had taken a photo of the view from his amazing loft. Floor to ceiling windows with complete view of the Manhattan bridge and the river….wow is all I can say. He was lucky he got to spend 20 years looking at that fantastic view. Now I have his great furniture to sell to you.
If you have been looking for large artwork at super reasonable prices, we have great news for you. We obtained a collection of super huge framed canvases which would be great for those large walls in the home. These are statement pieces and some are reproductions of the masters. Grab these massive pieces while they last. They are priced $100-$250.

What a busy week this was looking for vintage finds
We were busy as usual hunting for great vintage items to bring to our shop. We were lucky to get lots of great mid century modern furniture. We now have 8 min century modern credenzas in the shop as well as other great mid century finds. We did sell a few great pieces the same day they came into the shop including a Paul Mccobb dresser and a stunning credenza as well as a Basset mid century desk. Our van is loaded this morning with 3 mid century modern pieces which we picked up at 10pm.
We start early in the morning and we work till late at night in order to bring the great stuff to our customers. If you have a request, dont hesitate and ask as people are always sending us pictures of items that we normally wouldnt take to the shop, but you might want them.
This week we purchased over 20 vintage medical devices, many we dont even know what they are One thing is for sure, someone can use them for store decor or just to place on your shelf for a cool conversation piece.
We also purchased some great items from a person who lived in a high end loft. Now you can get some hardly used great modern pieces of furniture at great prices.

We spend 4 days at one location in Brooklyn
We were called this week to an unusual jobsite. We were tol
d that this apartment complex has not had people living there for over 20 years. Off we went to explore this 16 apartment complex. Each apartment was loaded with stuff. It appears that many of the apartments were occupied by family members over the years, so they just used the apartments as storage units.
We found so many interesting items over the 4 days we spent hunting for interesting items. Each apartment was packed with random items. We are still unpacking some of the treasures we found. The owner of the building was a wood worker so we got tons of tools and many unusual items. We even found a 1944 Harley Davidson bike which the owner plans on donating to the Harley museum.
Friday morning was a major score as we purchased 4 mid century modern credenzas from a dealer that closed down in long island city.

Loaded Up on more great vintage & modern items
This week we loaded up on so many great pieces of furniture. On some days we loaded up our van 2-3 times. Its no wonder why the warehouse is packed again with great deals. Everything is pried to sell so that we can load it up again this week.
We brought in lots of dressers, credenza, side tables, coffee table, lighting galore, tons of area rugs, plus a huge load of butcher block table tops.
