Winter time in New York City can be cold and nasty and people generally stay home to stay warm. For most people sourcing furniture this is a tough time of the year. We on the other hand have our connections that we have built since we opened our ship in 2001. We get multiple calls each day from people who are looking to sell us their furniture and decor. We are very selective and only bring the best items to our shop for our loyal customers. We still manage to bring in a truck load a day of new items. Some days we even bring 2-3 truck loads in. We have 3 other warehouses in Brooklyn where we put the extra items in when we can’t fit them in our showroom. To say we have a tremendous amount of inventory in an understatement.
If you are looking for anything in vintage and I mean anything….. we probably have it stashed away in one of our warehouses. People are always shocked when they ask us if we have something and then we bring it to them the next day.
This week alone we outfitted two restaurants with little of decor and 3 TV shows with props they needed for their sets. We provide tons of items for movies thruout the New York area. This week we purchased multiple estates with lots of quality furniture and decor. If you like mid century modern or if you are into the 1980s, we have what you are looking for to furnish you home or apartment. So many great pieces have arrived.

Our warehouse is not open yet, but our showroom located at 393 bushwick avenue is open Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-6pm.

Need Furniture and Decor During these trying time? We are here for you

Its been several weeks and this darn virus is still keeping us at home. Many people have realized that they finally need to spruce up their homes and apartments and we are here to help. We have been selling items thru our instagram @reuseamericany and all of our items are available for touch free pickup or we can arrange for curbside deliveries. All items that we sell have been thoroughly sanitized and can be delivered within a few days or held until this mess is over.

People working from home have realized that they need desks and we have provided them to many people. Some of our clients have realized that they need to find the proper storage to make their home more tidy and we have provided many solutions for somANTIQUE METAL MEDICAL CABINETSe it’s a new dresser or a tv stand to a simple bookshelf.

We are still out every day bringing in new items to the warehouse so check out our instagram for new arrivals. We realize that there are people that are leaving our great city due to the uncertainty and we are available to buy your items and find good homes for them.

Incredible collection of Handmade Rugs and so much more

This week we purchased over 300 vintage rugs including Handmade persian rugs, Lots of Kilim rugs, and a few Rya rugs. Our warehouse is overflowing with these great pieces. We also brought in lots of other great vintage and mid century modern pieces of furniture and of course a bunch of mid century chairs and stools. Our chair section is overflowing with quality chairs. We also organized our floor lamp section so you can choose from over 20 mid century floor lamps. We also have over 10 mid century floor freestanding coat racks. We even brought in some amazing vintage winter coats and we will be bringing in many more cool vintage jackets and coats.

We buy used furniture everyday so keep us in mind when you are moving or downsizing. We pick up used furniture within one to 3 days so give us a call at 718-807-6529 today.

Every day we go out and meet some great people as we visit homes in New York and New Jersey. Some days we buy select pieces from each home and some days we are lucky and we get lots of great mid century and other vintage items.

Great Furniture keeps coming in

We go out every day looking for great stuff. This week we had to visit many homes to get the good stuff. After many homes with nothing special, we were lucky to get lots of great items to being to our shop. We also managed to get lots of small items which would make great holiday gifts. We are heading to the shop on sunday morning with a full load of great vintage items. We didnt have the time to take pictures, so there will be many new items to be had. New mid century modern furniture sunday and even more coming in next week

Hey all you mid century modern lovers out there. We were so fortunate to have purchased so many pieces of great mid century modern furniture. We brought in a bunch of cool mid century coffee tables and side tables. Tile top tables, lucite chairs, lucite bar carts, lucite bench and more. Mid century modern bar carts, globes, chairs, mirrors, art, lighting of all types, rugs, sculpture and so much more.

We are packed with amazing vintage finds

Its only thursday morning and we already brought 4 truckloads of great vintage items into our warehouse. We have been picking up great furniture, lighting and mirrors each day this week and even picking up super items at night after we close the shop. Elliot has been super busy with appointments from the city to long island. He hand selected great stuff this week and he managed to squeeze everything in the shop. For those of you who have been to our warehouse know that that is a hard task. Although everything is organized, there is so much new stuff to see. Some of you might find it easier to see the items on our instagram @reuseamericany, but we know there are a bunch of people who like to touch and see everything in person so come on down and explore our massive 6,000 square foot warehouse loaded with mid century modern furniture, lighting, mirrors and so much more.

We brought in a stunning Hans Wegner mid century modern sofa, a lovely velvet love seat, lots of great mirrors, a bunch of mid century italian lighting, lots of stools and chairs as well. There are new items all over the shop.

Elliot is heading over to another home in Brooklyn this morning so who knows what else he will be bringing to the shop.

The good stuff just keeps coming in…

We go picking all over the New York area every day and you never know what we will find. Some days we get the ordinary stuff and then some days we get great stuff. Then there are the days when we almost get the great stuff. Then there are days that we are waiting for answers from clients if they are willing to sell the pieces that you want to

buy. This week had a little of all the above. We got a bunch of regular stuff, a bunch of really nice stuff and we almost got some great stuff and we are waiting for answers on some really nice stuff.

All in all we brought in 5 truck loads of great vintage to the shop. We didnt have time to take pictures of most of the stuff. But we will try to get them done today and post it on our instagram @reuseamericany. Of course there are items that we brought in that was listed on instagram and was claimed right away, so we are not posting those pictures here.

Its always an adventure here at Reuse America and we are always hunting for mid century modern and other great vintage treasures for our customers. Our warehouse is always brimming with vintage finds.
