Winter time in New York City can be cold and nasty and people generally stay home to stay warm. For most people sourcing furniture this is a tough time of the year. We on the other hand have our connections that we have built since we opened our ship in 2001. We get multiple calls each day from people who are looking to sell us their furniture and decor. We are very selective and only bring the best items to our shop for our loyal customers. We still manage to bring in a truck load a day of new items. Some days we even bring 2-3 truck loads in. We have 3 other warehouses in Brooklyn where we put the extra items in when we can’t fit them in our showroom. To say we have a tremendous amount of inventory in an understatement.
If you are looking for anything in vintage and I mean anything….. we probably have it stashed away in one of our warehouses. People are always shocked when they ask us if we have something and then we bring it to them the next day.
This week alone we outfitted two restaurants with little of decor and 3 TV shows with props they needed for their sets. We provide tons of items for movies thruout the New York area. Loads and Loads of Mid Century Modern

This week we were so busy bringing in mid century furniture. Our warehouse is so full of great pieces… in actuality we are bursting at the seams. We literally stuffed everything inside and did our best to make things fit. For those of you whom have been here, know that we are already loaded, but now we are really loaded. We brought in a nice george nelson style day bed by modernica, a bunch of mid century coffee tables, a bunch of mid century lounge chairs, a bunch of mid century chairs, some velvet accent chairs and a bunch of mid century modern dressers.

We also purchased the contents from a closed restaurant and got in some amazing accent pieces and decor. A Huge hand carved wall mural is just one of the masterpieces. Huge 7′ live edge mahogany dining table, large driftwood and so much more.

There is so much to see. This is the first time that we are posting pictures here before  instagram so call us if you re interested in these items. All items will be posted on our instagram @reuseamericany with sizes and prices in the near future. Please note: the shop will be closed thursday Jan 31st due to the extreme cold weather

Lots of Mirrors, Rugs, Tables, Dressers & Much More

We brought in so many large mirrors this week. Every home that we visited, had mirrors that we could use so we loaded up on so many mirrors. Our warehouse is overflowing with mirrors. We even got 4 full view mirrors made in the usa from a beauty salon. Round mirrors, oval mirrors, tall mirrors, ornate mirrors, gold mirrors, art deco mirrors, we have them all. Over 60 mirrors are in the shop now. If you are looking for a mirror, now is the time to check them out.

We also brought in lots and lots of handmade area rugs, persian rugs, oriental rugs, small rugs, large rugs. Lot of bright colors to keep your floors warm on those cold nights.

We always seek out mid century modern furniture and we brought in mid century dining tables, mid century dressers, mid century desks, mid century chairs and so much more.

We are so overloaded with great stuff so we are making dels like never before.

Hey all you mid century modern lovers out there. We were so fortunate to have purchased so many pieces of great mid century modern furniture. We brought in a bunch of cool mid century coffee tables and side tables. Tile top tables, lucite chairs, lucite bar carts, lucite bench and more. We dont stop bringing in stuff to our warehouse. Each day there is something new. We are too busy bringing in items that unfortunately we cant take pictures of everything. While we do post pictures 2 times a day on our instagram @reuseamericany. This gives you the opportunity to see new items as they come into the shop. We are always amazed by the comments we get from our customers when they come into the shop one day and then the next day they see it on instagram. We are addicted to buying great vintage items, so we have to bring in new items daily for our customers.
