Fantastic Vintage Furniture at great prices

We are constantly challenged to get great mid century and other vintage furniture into the shop at low prices. Since we are out there every day seeking items, we try to buy everything at low prices so we can pass along the savings to you guys. We buy in bulk everyday so we are able to offer low prices to our customers. Sometimes we are challenged by our customers who come in looking for mid century modern dressers for $100. While this may pose a problem for most vintage shops, we were able to offer two happy roomies a nice dresser for only $99. If we buy low, we sell low… its a simple plan. Dont think that this will happen every day, but we do put big smiles on many of our customers whom are shocked by our low prices.

We like to sell things fast and we find that by keeping our prices low, we move a lot of inventory. For those of you whom have been at our shop know, we have lots of great pieces. So come on in and pay a visit and let us get you those vintage pieces of furniture that you desire.

The places we visit are amazing…

This week we were busy visiting homes in the New York are as usual. What wasn’t usual was two unique places we visited. Monday morning we were called to a brownstone in the village. From the outside it looked similar to the other homes surrounding it. Upon entering the home we were presented with 3 floors loaded with amazing vintage and antique treasures. When we entered the top floor we were amazed by what we saw. The ceiling was over 20′ tall and had a balcony leading to a loft space. We were informed that this gigantic room was used in the 1930s as a speakeasy during the prohibition. They had burlesque

shows with drinking and gambling at the same time. Going up to the balcony, there were unique mirrors and unique costumes which appeared untouched since those days. This was truly a unique experience and we hope they will accept our bid to purchase all those cool items.

On Wednesday, we went to a giant home in Great Neck NY where we were able to purchase lots of cool items including some mid century modern furniture. We also enjoyed our visit with homeowner whom was selling her home which she lived in for many years. She was a optomitrist and had just closed her in home office. While I was able to purchase some of those items, there were plenty of other cool items she didn’t want to sell as she was donating them to a charity in Peru which helps provide eye checkups and glasses to the needy there. we were touched by the stories she told us of her visits to that poor county and the benefits that the equipment will make to the people there.

Thursday was productive as well as we got a bunch of new mid century modern pieces from a home in Long Island. Lots of great pieces in the shop now for you to furnish and decorate your homes or apartments.

Mid Century Bonanza

This week was a great one for us since we got calls from two homes loaded with mid century modern furniture and decor. The first one is in Long Island and we began to bring the great items to our shop. There is so much stuff that we have to make a few trips there to make sure we get all the items. We will be busy at that location next week so there will be a lot more pictures coming soon. House number two is also loaded with mid century modern gems and we began bringing the items to the shop on Thursday. We will be returning next week as well since we will be getting 5 cado systems and bringing them to the shop by the end of the week. We will also be bringing in some very unique retro items from this home as well.

We also squeezed in a pick up of amazing solid teak and fruitwood modern minimalist desks which have proven to be very popular due to their great look and great low price of $150 each. If you like these guys, you should grab them while they last. These are quality desks in 36″&42″ wide sizes.

We love loading up our warehouse with great vintage treasures

People that have visited our vintage warehouse know that we have lots of great vintage furniture and more. In fact they would say, you cant possibly fit any more stuff inside your 6,000 sq foot warehouse as it is packed. Well, we managed to overfill it again. We brought in 6 truckloads of more great stuff. Help us sell some items so we can bring in even more next week.

To make room for even more great items, we are selling everything at great prices. Come in and lets make a deal. We offer low cost delivery and we accept all credit cards and venmo as well.

Special Hours For March and April 2018

We are proud to have become first time grandparents as our daughter has given birth to a bouncing baby boy. We plan on spending some quality time with him and we will be having limited hours during the rest of march and beginning of april. Please see the special hours below. Vintage Variety is what we have… Something for everyone

When we go hunting for fresh vintage finds, we are always on the lookout for unique items. While we are always looking for mid century modern furniture, we are also looking for unique items that appeal to a broad spectrum of clients. This week was no exception, we went upstate New York scouring for different items. We managed to find lots of cool items and they are in the shop right now.

We got in a pair of vintage wood canoe paddles, a nice old bird cage, a postage stamp vending machine, A Shure studio microphone, some farm devices, even a 1920’s embossed one way street sign in mint condition. The homeowner had that sign tucked away in the attic and told me how he and his friends got it years ago and hid it from his parents. He even sold me his stash of 25 crystal glass doorknobs he had in the basement.

On our way back to Brooklyn, we stopped into a nice home in New Jersey and we scored some great mid century pieces. We got a nice 2 piece danish modern walnut couch set in great condition and a super 2 piece walnut danish lounge chair set. The lounge set sold minutes after we posted the pictures on instagram, sorry folks. If you want to get first crack at the latest and greatest, then you should follow us on instagram @reuseamericany. We also got some really groovy 1970’s lighting fixtures from the same home. Two really nice chrome mid century chrome ceiling fixtures and a nice teak and smoked lucite one as well. A nice rosewood mid century modern table and 2 Breuer Cesca cane chairs as well as 2 Giandomenico Belotti  spaghetti chairs.
