Winter time in New York City can be cold and nasty and people generally stay home to stay warm. For most people sourcing furniture this is a tough time of the year. We on the other hand have our connections that we have built since we opened our ship in 2001. We get multiple calls each day from people who are looking to sell us their furniture and decor. We are very selective and only bring the best items to our shop for our loyal customers. We still manage to bring in a truck load a day of new items. Some days we even bring 2-3 truck loads in. We have 3 other warehouses in Brooklyn where we put the extra items in when we can’t fit them in our showroom. To say we have a tremendous amount of inventory in an understatement.
If you are looking for anything in vintage and I mean anything….. we probably have it stashed away in one of our warehouses. People are always shocked when they ask us if we have something and then we bring it to them the next day.
This week alone we outfitted two restaurants with little of decor and 3 TV shows with props they needed for their sets. We provide tons of items for movies thruout the New York area. We are still bringing in a truckload every day and we are selling everything from our instagram account @reuseamericany. If you want to see our amazing collection we urge you to watch our posts daily as we post everything with sizes and prices.

Our Instagram stories present the latest items for sale and our highlights section has a lot of available items listed by categories. While we have hundreds of items on Instagram, our warehouse is packed with other items not listed so if you are looking for particular items please text your requests to 718-807-6529 and we will send you pictures of those items.

We offer low cost local deliveries on all items and the delivery staff can bring your items up multiple flights for an additional fee. You are also welcome to come pick up your purchased items during our pick up days,  Sundays from 1-7pm and Wednesdays from 4-7pm. We are also able to alter pickup times upon request.

We look forward to the day when we can reopen as it was before the pandemic and we are striving to enhance your shopping experience.

Its been several weeks and this darn virus is still keeping us at home. Many people have realized that they finally need to spruce up their homes and apartments and we are here to help. We have been selling items thru our instagram @reuseamericany and all of our items are available for touch free pickup or we can arrange for curbside deliveries. All items that we sell have been thoroughly sanitized and can be delivered within a few days or held until this mess is over.

People working from home have realized that they need desks and we have provided them to many people. Some of our clients have realized that they need to find the proper storage to make their home more tidy and we have provided many solutions for somANTIQUE METAL MEDICAL CABINETSe it’s a new dresser or a tv stand to a simple bookshelf.

We are still out every day bringing in new items to the warehouse so check out our instagram for new arrivals. We realize that there are people that are leaving our great city due to the uncertainty and we are available to buy your items and find good homes for them.

What A Crazy Week It Has Been

With each day bringing more bad news about the spread of the Corona virus it was very difficult to conduct business as usual. We continued to pick up new items daily from our clients and making sure to sanitize every item before bringing them into the shop. Staying open to the public has proven to be even a more difficult challenge as our warehouse is so overloaded with great furniture.

We know that since people are staying at home, they are realizing they need proper furniture to put their items in the proper place. To assist those newly homebound, we are offering many pieces at highly discounted prices and we are offering low delivery prices.

If you see something on our instagram @reuseamericany or over here that you would like delivered kindly contact us and we will do our best to get those items to you. We will also be posting many smaller items in the near future which we will be shipping via the post office or UPS.

We hope all our friends and customers stay healthy and get through this mess together. New York will come back stronger than ever once this thing is over.

With all the histeria behind the virus spreading worldwide, we are taking strong measures to ensure our items are cleaned properly and maintain their cleanliness. We have always been super selective where we get our items and we make sure to maintain our strict levels.

We didnt spend our time shopping for toilet paper of cases of water, we continued purchasing quality furniture and decor for our clients so that they can enjoy their homes and apartments that some may be spending more time in the near future.

We buy so many new items each week. If you have Furniture that you are looking to sell. We pick up furniture everyday. If you need furniture removed from your home, we can pick it up within one to 3 days. We buy estates every day. We pay too dollar for furniture lighting mirrors and decor. This week we managed to get 3 loads of great furniture and decor. While not our typical week where we bring in a truckload per day. So we decided to make a sale on everything in the shop this week. If you have had your eyes on something in the shop, now is the time to come and purchase it. Our carpet section is more organized and our floor lamp section is now organized so you can get a better look at those great items.

We are roaring along with great vintage finds

So glad to be back to work from our extended family celebration. We spent the week bringing in lots of new pieces. We had appointments lined up all week, so we were busy picking up mid century modern furniture and 1980s decor and furniture.

We picked up a bunch of cool items from a 8 bedroom mansion in Ditmas park and we will be returning in the coming weeks to get lots more.

We also went to an apartment in Brighton Beach Brooklyn which had a full ocean view. We picked up some nice furniture from there and we will be returning to there as well to pick up the remaining items.

Off we went to a home in Long Island where we got a stunning mid century credenza, a dining table with leaves and  bunch of mid century chairs.

Great Stuff… And we are celebrating our sons upcoming wedding

This past week we were busy getting cool items for our shop. We visited many locations and got great stuff for the warehouse. We were called to a former Chiropractors office in Brooklyn and we filled up a whole truck of cool old stuff. Included in that haul was lots of vintage framed medical posters and other medical related items.

We also visited an amazing home which was furnished in the 1980s. This home has all high end everything. From Milo Baughman furniture to crazy cool lighting of every type and lots of amazing mirrors. We were only able to take a few pieces from there but we will return and make a few trips to bring all the great stuff to the shop,

Our son is getting married this week so we will be closed. We will reopen wednesday Feb 19th at 11:00 am. If you see something that you would like to purchase, you can go to our instagram @reuseamericany and venmo us a payment and you can pick up or we can arrange for it to be delivered when we return.

Holy Cow… what a week this was at Reuse America

Boy were we busy this week at Reuse America. We brought in so many great items into the shop that we were in the shop till 10:30 each night just trying to make everything fit inside.

On Monday we got some great pieces from an apartment on the upper West side from a gentleman who loved going to antique auctions.

On Tuesday, we purchased some great designer pieces from italy and and a wonderful “lips” love seat which was used on MTV.

On wednesday, we purchased a truckload of items from an eclectic artist who resides in the West Village and he decided to downsize a bit.

Thursday we spend a few hours with a restaurant owner who had amazing items in his huge storage locker from a restaurant he used to own. We got several amazing cool velvet wing chairs, tables, and other great pieces.

Friday, we spent the day in a luxurious home in Brooklyn purchasing amazing mid century modern furniture including an awesome wall unit which will be unloading into the shop sunday.

It has been lots of work for us getting all this great stuff. What make us happy every day is seeing all of your faces when you see the new items in the shop.
