Special Hours For March and April 2018

We are proud to have become first time grandparents as our daughter has given birth to a bouncing baby boy. We plan on spending some quality time with him and we will be having limited hours during the rest of march and beginning of april. Please see the special hours below. In the meantime we have been filling up our warehouse with so many great items, so check out some pictures below or follow us on instagram @reuseamericany for more pictures and prices as well.

Sunday March 18 10am-5pm, Mon&Tues closed. Wed.& Thurs March 21&22 11am-7pm. Fri March 23 11am-3pm
Sunday March 25th 10-7pm, Mon.&Tues closed. Wed.&Thurs March 28&29 11-7pm. Fri. March 30th 11-3pm
We will be closed from March 31st – Monday April 9th. We will reopen to our regular schedule beginning Tuesday April 10th at 3pm. Thank you for understanding and we appreciate your business.

Industrial & Mid Century Modern Furniture – We got it all in this week

After visiting over 20 homes this week in our never ending search for great vintage furniture, we were successful in finding 4 locations with the type of furniture that we know our clients will like.

From a nice home in Mill Basin, we obtained some nice mid century modern pieces. A great handmade wood and brass oriental trunk. Some of them were snatched up the moment we unloaded them off the truck and others will be available starting sunday at 10am. There are great pieces to be had from this great estate.

Next we went to a nice home in long island and we purchased a real nice Mid century modern bedroom set from Hickory furniture,  a great mid century modern brass ceiling lamp, we also got a headboard which we will be converting into a credenza, lets see how buck our woodworker builds this piece.

We then purchased a bunch of items from a juice bar in bay ridge which went out of business. We got a whole bunch of menu chalk boards, some edison lighting, some other

lighting, a bunch of chairs, and other cool items.

Then we went to a artists home in Soho and we got some really great stuff including a bunch of industrial cabinets, a fabulous industrial metal cart, a hamilton flat file cabinet, a bunch of industrial antique bases from drafting tables. A great Antique Remington #5 typewritter, a handmade wood table with great wood sawhorses, a nice work bench, an art deco large mirror and many more items.

This week we went rustic. We went searching for items made of wood and we were successful. If you like vintage wood, then you will be very happy. We brought in vintage doors, barn doors, vintage ladders, old wood boxes, milk crates, Wood boxes which were used to ship singer sewing machines, WW1 army shipping boxes, wood trunks and a bunch of reclaimed wood strips. We even got in a large 100 year old workbench which would make a great kitchen island. We also brought in a great wood picnic table and 2 benches in great condition.

Mid century lovers don’t worry, we still brought in a bunch of great pieces as well – Desks, Dressers, Credenzas, Full view mirror, Record cabinets, Ottomans, Chairs, Lighting and more.

We also brought in some unique porcelain statues, religious statues and columns and many other unique small items that we have not had a chance to take pictures of. Oh almost forgot, we also got in a whole bunch of hand and power tools.
